As I promised you, I'm back with Granada part 2. In this post I'll write about what we've visited the second day. We decided to go for a walk on the Citysightseeing Bus. Inside the bus we had a pair of headphones. During the walk, the spokesman spoke through them in 6 different languages in order to explain us everything about the places we passed through.
So, first of all, we saw the Genil river, the second longest river in Andalusia. The longest one is the Guadalquivir.
Then we visited the Monastery of the Cartuja // Charterhouse (el Monasterio de Cartuja).
In 1964, it was declared a national monument and now it's owned by the government of Andalusia. Restorations were made for the Seville Expo '92. In 1997, it became the site of a museum of contemporary and ceramic art.
Here is a picure of "La plaza de toros" which receives the title of Royal Cavalry. It becomes a very accessible location from anywhere in Granada.
Blanco, one of my favorite store:)
Then we visited the Science Park (El Parque de las Ciencias). It's located in a central area of Granada and has become one the main attractions of the city.
37 metres high Observation Tower // Albert Einstein sculpture at the entrance of the museum
The Sciene Park at sunset... what a beautiful view!
"La Glorieta de la AviaciĆ³n EspaƱola"
The Neptuno Mall
Woow! It seems so nice...
